Recipe: Choc Chip Oatmeal Cookies

The simplest and most wholesome chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever come across.

The ideal snack to fuel up on before training.

 

Makes 6 cookies

Total time: 25 minutes

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (100g) oats (certified gluten free, if needed, or swap for quinoa flakes)
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 30g dark chocolate, chopped

 

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Mash banana, then stir in oats, baking powder, vanilla and chopped chocolate until well combined.
  3. Spoon onto baking tray to make 6 cookies, and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
  4. Allow to cool and enjoy!
